How to read this page — two kinds of tools:
🧑‍🚀 Crew = agents. Each is a character with a persona and a signature move (the dramatic name for what it does). A move can chain a piece of Gear. Think: who you call in.
🔧 Gear = skills & commands. Each is a plain verb+name handle with an icon — a tool you pick up. No persona, no signature move. Think: what you reach for.

Keep the projects healthy (Steward), ship safely (Guardian → Publisher), keep the toolkit itself clean (Curator), and never lose a chat (Archiver) — and bookend each session: orient at the start, recap at the end.

About "real runs": counts are true invocations (formal tool launches) found in currently-retained session transcripts — not name-mentions in chat. A 0 or low count is a weak signal, not a verdict: brand-new tools (the Publisher, born today) and foundational pre-skill work (the Renamer already renamed 276 files; the Cataloger) read low yet remain valuable. Statuses are not downgraded based on these numbers.

Bookends, not duplicates: 🧭 the Orienter (start of session) and 📊 the Recapper (end of session) look in opposite directions — forward at what's loaded vs backward at tokens/cache/cost — so both stay. The Orienter also pairs with the new SessionStart bootstrap hook (the hook injects the PEZ-OS brain; the Orienter surfaces & explains it).

⚠️ Watch means a tool whose core job is mostly done — kept for now, re-checked next sweep for overlap. Right now only 🔭 the Surveyor (vault-snapshot) sits there. Nothing is recommended for archiving this sweep.
